Valor Real Estate Partners has acquired a 140,000 sq ft logistics asset in Hayes, West London from Prologis on behalf of its clients.
The asset, which is situated close to Heathrow Airport, is currently let on a long term lease to Lufthansa Technik until 2024, with an open market rent review in 2019.
Christian Jamison, managing partner of Valor said: “I am very pleased to announce Valor’s third UK acquisition. Overall, this deal presented an excellent opportunity to acquire a high quality asset on a reversionary lease with a stable covenant, in a prime urban location.
“The site is excellently located near Heathrow, with good access to central London via the M4 and M25, servicing both airport related demand and the growing e-commerce market for the Central / West London area. It is in these types of supply constrained infill locations where Valor will continue to grow its portfolio. We continue to see exciting investment opportunities in the UK, despite increased market uncertainty from recent political events, and we are in a unique position to react quickly to those situations.”
